For those of you who are interested. I’m looking for grave hunters from around the country. Who would be interested in photographing some specific gravesites for me. The reason being is that I’m contemplating the thought of writing a book on a particular grave hunting topic which will remain anonymous for now until I get the ball rolling.
Being that this is somewhat of a huge undertaking, and my wallet is tight these days, I can’t be everywhere at once. So I thought I’d put the word out there, that I’m looking for people who would be interested in contributing photos for the book I’m contemplating on writing. Keep in mind any photo you contribute for the book and that photo is used in the print and/or eBook edition of the book. You will get the credit to the photo(s) you contribute with name recognition.
Before I forget I’ve got an extensive list of grave sites I’d like to get photos of. From pretty much anywhere in the United States with a major metropolitan area. So with that being said if your interested in doing a little grave hunting for The Motor City Morbid One, please don’t hesitate to send an email to me. And I’ll give you the details of whose grave sites I’d like photos of. My contact info can be found on the “About Me” page, if you do email me please put “Grave Hunting” or something along those lines in the subject area. Also don’t forget to let me know what region your from, I’ll then check my list to see if I need any photos from your geographic area. I do hope to hear from you soon.
I’m arriving rather late in the game.. Hope your book proposal has come to fruition. I’ve been photographing cemeteries in southern Indiana since 1979. No organized crime in my area, but many stones of interest. Most of the country’s finest limestone is quarried here, and in the building boom of the previous century, carvers from all over the world came here to work the stone.
Best to you.
Hey Jennifer, sorry for the late reply. It’s interesting what you mentioned. I wasn’t aware that the southern part of Indiana had a lot of limestone quarried from the area. I haven’t updated the blog in quite awhile. I’m in the process of changing the direction I want the blog to go into. When I was writing articles for the blog. I chronicled my cross country adventures where I’d highlight the famous or notable people buried in the cemeteries I visited. The new direction I’m taking the blog in is a historical approach to death in general. There will still be cemetery articles. But I’m trying to offer more interesting topics for blog articles.
